a
congenital
hypopigmentary
disorder

dysfunction
of

melanin-producing
cells

melanocytes
)
resulting
in
defective
production
of
melanin
from
tyrosine
through
a
complex
pathway
of
metabolic
reactions

known

the
varied

features
that
albinism
presents
with

This
case
report
summarises
the
features
encountered
in
albinism
,
the
different
oral
findings
available
in
the
literature
and
also
presents
a
case
of
an
albinism
patient
treated
with
fixed
partial
denture
and
the
precautions
to
be
exercised
for
such
patients
.
