Parsonage-Turner syndrome associated with anti-bovine viral diarrhoea virus antibodies.

The
Parsonage-
Turner
syndrome
,
a
rare
form
of
neuralgic
amyotrophy
of
unknown
aetiology
,
was
diagnosed
in
a
patient
involved
in
an
outbreak
of
bovine
viral
diarrhoea
virus
(
BVDV
)
.
The
patient
,
suffering
from
inflammation
of
the
right
shoulder
with
a
permanent
atrophy
,
developed
anti-
BVDV
antibody
titres
which
remained
very
high
during
the
four
following
years
of
monitoring
.
