[hirschsprung disease]
Hirschsprung
disease
(
HD
)
,
a
neurocristopathy
characterized
by
failed
migration
of
neural
crest
cells
to
the
distal
colon
,
requires
surgical
resection
of

segment
.
Advances
in
stem

research
have
opened
the
possibility
to
treat
HD
less
invasively
using

therapy
.
