The
authors
report
the
medical
history

a

year
-old
male
patient

who
had
been
admitted
to
the
department
of
infectious
diseases
three
times
with
recurrent
icterus
of
unknown
origin

suspected
of
viral
hepatitis
before
his
internal
examination
.
The
clinical
picture
and
the
histological
results
of
liver
biopsy
performed
in
acute
phase
proved
the
presence
of
a
rare
hyperbilirubinaemia
syndrome
,
