report
a
young
boy
with
blood
culture
proven
typhoid
fever
that
developed
this
very
rare
neurological
complication
quite
early
in
the
course
of
the
disease
.
Following
treatment
with
intravenous
antibiotics
and
intravenous
immunoglobulin
,
he
improved
.
