assess

burden
and
spectrum

refractive

disorders
in

eastern
Nigerians

oculocutaneous
albinism

population-based
survey
in
Enugu
state

2012

albinos
were
identified
using
the
database
of
the
Enugu
state
's
Albino
Foundation
,
and
mass
media-based
mobilisation
.

participants
were
enrolled
at
the
Eye
Clinics
of
the
University
of
Nigeria
Teaching
Hospital
and
Enugu
State
University
of
Science
and
Technology
Teaching
Hospital
using
a
defined
protocol
.
Relevant
socio-demographic
and
clinical
data
were
obtained
from
each
participant
