a

cough
of

duration
without
a
specific
diagnosis
as
to
etiology
in
spite
of
numerous
diagnostic
tests
and
therapeutic
trials
.
This
is
a
case
report
from
a
specialist
point
of
view
that
includes
a
comprehensive
review
of
her
clinical
course
pre-
and
postconsultation
along
with
a
brief
but
pertinent
review
of
the
literature
as
it
relates
to
this
particular
unusual
and
protracted
case
,
which
was
ultimately
successfully
diagnosed
and
treated
