stem
cells
in
the
epidermis
is
a

emerging
field
.
Great
advances
have
been
made
in

analyze
individual
stem
cell
divisions
.
Advances
in
the
clinic
include
recognition
of
the
importance
of
stem
cells
for
wound
repair
and
for
gene
therapy
and
promising
results
