manifestations

epidermolysis

DEB
)
include
blistering
of
the
oral
mucosa
,
scarring
,
limited
mouth
opening
,
decreased
mobility
of
the
tongue
,
restrictions
in
oral
functions
and
a
high
incidence
of
caries
.
Adult
oral
health
management
is
challenging
and
requires
unique
strategies
,
which
have
not
been
well
described
in
the
published
literature
.
We
present
a
case
of
DEB
focusing
on
the
obstacles
encountered
during
restorative
and
periodontal
care
and
recommendations
for
appropriate
treatment
.
